Now what if you (being a guy) didn't have the killer suave and charm of some Mr. McDreamy ?

What if you didn't have the skill on that piece of wood called a guitar coupled with that warm husky voice like Jason Mraz ?

What if you couldn't write poetry or novel-long letters like Shakespeare did to his male lover ?

What if some uber poor folk somewhere rather chose to die of hunger than to eat your food ?

What if you didn't exude power and presence from your very pores like Chuck Bass ?

What if you had the confidence of someone who would paste on himself post-it notes saying "kick me" just to save everyone the the trouble of doing it for you ?

Well , you're essentially screwed la .

How now brown cow ?

I apologise if you coincidentally fall into the group above and just for your information this isn't meant to help further bury a person's head into the ground nor is it a quickie guide to instant hotness-for-men .

Honestly , I have no idea what this post is about but I suppose this is solely a (abstract) channel to pour out my teenage angst (of which is my final 9 months of that is..) to kick start the new year . And I , like many others find myself in that long lists of what-if-you're not's ?

So being a troll versus being terhebat (sorry couldn't find a proper alliteration la - England not so powderful) . What exactly happens ? Well all I can say is that there's bound to be a trail of casualties left in the wake of being slammed with reality in your face . That you just ain't good enough . And many of us poor souls can't help but just be a casualty of "The List" . The List that grades you as a Do or a Don't . A Victim or a male Vixen .

Is he good looking ?

Is he funny ?

Is he rich ?

Does he drive a Porsche ?

Does he mix with the "in" crowd ?

Whatever it may be or however long it may be . Men all over the world dread ; "The List" .

So in this New Year , my fellow comrades in this ever losing war to win that dame , what in the world do we do ? Simple . In war , never retreat nor surrender but be smart to realise when you've been smacked down by defeat la . Such persistence is only as good as pushing a tonne of bricks ! Chilling la ! Just go for it . Have fun courting , have fun asking the girl out , have fun just going shopping with her for that gorgeous pair of shoes . Let go , let loose .

Men nowadays - me counted of course . So uptight about everything . Every rustle in the leaves , every trickle of water into the puddle - made to seem as though Malaysians decided to stop exporting food out of their kitchens (that surely is a fate far worse than death !) .

Though we may seem to always fall short of "The List" (be it concocted by the opposite number or even our own feeble , shallow minds polluted by the media today) , the male gender was designed to be of thicker skin and by mere nature of being human , we're meant to adapt and evolve into being more adequate for whatever problem arises that the edge that we're so close to , gets pushed a tad bit further .

So now , time to suck it in ! And go kick butt but don't be so desperate to score ? Life is so much more than "The Chase" (which is another story for another time) . In a nutshell - just chill la joe !

-Now , all you boys and girls don't go running to mummy and telling on me aight ? I'm just pitching my piece however true it may be .
-This is probably one of the most pointless posts this blog has ever had the priviledge of spewing .

-What inspired this post ? The transition into 2010 being more of a daze than anything else .
